Covid-19 safety information for
face-to-face therapy sessions

Myself and Centennial Medical Centre (CMC) have implemented new procedures and screening protocols for face-to-face sessions, to ensure the safety of all staff, patients and CMC visitors.

Please read the following carefully:
PROCEDURE

48 Hours Prior To Your Appointment:

Please go through the triage questions below.

If you answer YES  to any question, please cancel your face-to-face appointment directly with me.
We can still do the session online.

If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice due to Covid-19 symptoms, you will NOT be charged.

Day Of The Appointment

To minimise the number of people in CMC at any one time, the clinic asks that you do not arrive too far in advance of your appointment time.

On arrival:
1) You will be met at the door by the receptionist and asked for your name and who your appointment is with.

2) You will be asked to wait outside, or in your car until the time of our appointment.
CMC clinic only allows one person in per appointment (unless a chaperone/carer is needed).

3) Once I am ready to see you the receptionist will call you to the door.

4) On entering the building CMC requests that you wear a mask (one can be provided if you do not have). Your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to sanitise your hands. You will then be brought to my room. You do not need to wear a mask during the actual session.

If on arrival your temperature exceeds 37.4°C you will be asked to remain outside, and after ten minutes the receptionist will re-take it. If it remains at the same temperature, you will be asked to reschedule.
I will not charge for the cancellation.

SAFETY INFO AND CHANGES MADE AT CMC:

Cleaning:

Cleaning protocols are strictly adhered to throughout the day to minimise the risk of any cross-contamination to staff, patients, and other visitors. CMC staff will ensure that:

~ Every room is cleaned between patient use.
~ Toilet areas are cleaned after each use to include toilet seat, door handles, toilet rolls, hand sanitisers, and hand towel dispensers.
~ Waiting areas are cleaned regularly throughout the day.
~ Any other areas which may be touched are regularly sanitised.

Therapy Room:

~ Sessions will take place in a room large enough for social distancing.
~ You are welcome to wear a mask or visor during the session, but it is not required.
~ A window will be open all the time, so please bring an extra layer if the weather is cooler.
